Strange, how a guy who doesn't even think he has a self can manage to be so extremely self-centered. This conversation is going nowhere, so I'll leave you with this thought: I've studied physics, and I know how evolution works. For the purposes of this discussion, do I give a hoot about how evolution works? NO. I'll repeat myself: the fact that something *happens* does not mean that it *should happen*. If evolution has been putting all of life on earth through a meat grinder since time immemorial ... who cares? I'm not obligated to like that. I'm not obligated to continue or imitate it. And I won't. Evolution is a mindless natural process that makes bad "decisions"; I owe it no obedience. "Hahahaha, I am young, but I have a great motivation (AGI) and a lot of free time too. So there's lots of potential! Good investment." This is *your opinion* of yourself, and what I've been trying to tell you is that I don't think the meat grinder shares this opinion.
