Ill tell what I think the answer is.
It is not because man is not potentially able, u work it out yourself that you 
can, and others do as well.
So that means the ones before us could as well.
But I think all dragons get knocked on the head when they try to do it via 
supernatural acts, explaining the mystery, with a mystery.
