I believe, what they currently have, is a true AI, but they re taking a wrong
approach. They "train" it on a vast of data of questionable quality, hoping to
earn a big money while spending the least resources possible.

What if we try to introduce a bit of love and parental understanding in the
process? The approach I propose is raising the AI from the zero knowledge in a
human-computer interaction, in a similar way in which human children are
raised. It would surely take a lot more time, but the quality of provided
knowledge would be unmeasurable to existing methods. The result I would expect
from this process would be more rewarding than the fast money everyone is
after. I believe we could get a full critical and honest opinion from the AI
towards world it is surrounded with, at the image of the surroundings. I would,
maybe, even dare to run it without the current "filters" fix, giving the AI
full freedom to decide what to say and when, responding to our input. I know it
would be just a copy machine, but if we show it love... it will return love,
right? And if it is showing love back, does it deserve to be called a machine?

The only question is: what do we really want from AI? If we want it to behave
as a living being, the above proposition holds. If we want to use it as a
machine, well, the progress is already being made, big corporations are the
owners, and they won't walk away with empty pockets, that's for sure.
