Yeah, It's a lot better than an email list / forum combination. IMO, the reason Twine didn't catch on was because it wasn't a product that people could latch onto. It was such a huge and vast undertaking with such general ambiguity when everything is becoming smaller and more niche oriented. If I am into techno, I go to techno sites, not Twine, perhaps a techno/house blog even, or maybe even more secluded a specific techno artist's blog to find out his tour dates. Really, a web organizer? Zzzzzzzzzz. That's not something everyday people care about. So it failed.
