hey, Off this list, AGI folks have shared ideas and inspired each others research plenty...
OpenCog has drawn in code from Itamar Arel's AGI project, detailed ideas from Joscha Bach's MicroPsi project, (long ago) detailed ideas from Pei Wang's NARS project, etc. .... It's not the case that no AGI researchers listen to what each other have to say... LIDA has been revised to found itself on Sparse Distributed Memory...
