MORSE in Blender looks interesting, and it supports ROS.

Blender has a page describing the simulation of soft bodies, rigid bodies,
fluids, etc:

I downloaded the networking add-on BZoo, but it looks like the last time
that code was updated was in 2007, so it's probably stale. I wonder if
there are other active Blender add-on projects for persistent multi-player
worlds.
