That is very pre-mature. Last I heard OpenCog was just a mish-mash of ill-formed, vaguely defined ideas. =\ Custom hardware is always the last step in an optimization process beginning with software that verifiably does what you want it to do but not quite fast enough. I have not yet seen anything that would lead me to even suspect that the GOERTZEL has anything worth further research. As far as I can tell, it's just a fairly advanced chatbot with a bunch of crap tacked on to the sides.
