Hmmm... I guess to connect that to my definition, I would say your
definition characterizes what it means for "  'R to represent_{my
definition} O in the context of S' to a very thorough observer of S"

Where by 'R represents O in the context of S' I mean " 'R in the
context of S" represents 'O in the context of S' "
