Right -- and two thinks should be emphasized 1) this is just one little puzzle (within a much larger puzzle whose pieces are smaller puzzles ;) ... solving it only brings you a leeetle bit of the way toward an effective AGI design, of course 2) we actually have an apparently adequate solution, I'm just curious if there are better ones out there. One aspect of the Novamente design is that various aspects of it can often be improved "independently" of the rest of the system.
