Caveats:
 - Yes, I know one could say that I'm arbitrarily calling the things I
agree with as "scientific" and everything else as "unscientific".

 - Yes, AGI is especially susceptible to Sturgeon's Law since it's
such an immature science.


Anyway... I do think that it would be nice to have more scientifically
grounded discussion on this list.
