Is there any other profession that has so many people wanting their particluar discipline recognised distinctly within the profession? We have the MR Advisory Panel, the CT panel, the U/S panel, the Mammography panel, the Rural and Remote Radiographers panel, the Radiation panel, the Radiation Therapy panel, the Diagnostic Radiography panel, the Overseas Qualifications panel. Goodness, the only panel we don't have is the Chief Radiographers Advisory Panel or C*AP for short. We are all radiographers. It's unique and encompasses all the other disciplines in the profession. By the way, I don't think we can afford another panel. Membership fees will have to rise to keep pace.
