I've been watching these discussions intently. IMHO, we are witnessing the
development of how Java software components will be deployed in the years to
come.

To that end, could someone please provide a overview of how Gump, Maven,
JJAR/Fetch/CJAN will work together? Or at least their vision? What I mean by
this question is how will a developer on a particular project use the
varying technologies? Will the typical Jakarta developer need to directly
concern themselves with Gump or will they only need to work out of Ant using
Maven/JJAR/Fetch/CJAN tasks?

I'm in a bind, I have to develop exactly this collaboration of
build/integrate/deploy technologies and I can't wait for the bleeding edge
to develop. However, I would like to be able to phase out/contribute my own
efforts at a later date when these Jakarta technologies are in place.

Thank you very much for your help.
