Peruse the Spider L-jet Diagnosis page:
http://www.hiperformancestore.com/Ljetspider.htm

Keep in mind that L-jet is a system - all the bits have to work for it to
work at all. Meaning - just because you find one thing doesn't mean you
found all the things. So do all the checks described in the L-jet page.

Since common things happen commonly, keep in mind that L-jet is very
intolerant of 'false air'. L-jet wants all air entering the engine to pass
through the AFM (Air Flow Meter) so it can, umm, meter it. The computer then
uses that info to decide how much (if any) fuel to squirt. The large intake
ducts across the top of the engine & the vacuum hoses are fairly easy to
check but look very carefully. The four intake runner hoses under the plenum
are not so easy to check but it is also vital that they are not cracked/split.

Next, L-jet is dependant on good ground connections to switch the fuel
injectors on & off. Don't assume that connections are good because they look
OK or feel tight - remove, clean & secure them.
