Page 188 section 6-23 in 1994 owners manual shows the three motronic system
fuse locations in engine compartment. There isn't any engine services
motronic ECU fuse in main fuse box on 94-95 models like on 91-93 models. You
are correct though in saying the shop wiring manual does not tell you where
they are located like 91-93 manual which shows picture diagrams of where
system components are located.
The shop service manual alludes to the 3 fuses for motronic system as
"loosen fuses" in engine compartment on page 40-6 as items 3,4;5. and has
S45,46;47 listed as flying relays in pictures of what is reallly S112a/b
relays.

Subject: [alfa] 1994 164 fuse discovery

Hi !

a new discovery today - on a 1994 164 the "S46 3A Motronic Supply Flying
Fuse"
is located with the relays & fuses for the radiator fan motor under a
plastic cover
mounted to the radiator bulkhead near the cruise control
actuator.
this is of course a different one than the ECU fuse in the main
panel below
the steering wheel, but the engine will NOT run without it ! but
like typical ALFA
fuses, relays & sensor/control connectors it is not
identified at it's location
nor are we told in the manual where to find it.
