Graham A couple pages with shock oil for sale. I am sure there are some nearer to you.
Just don't go too heavy. You want a constant viscosity fluid. In my old Brit car lever shock days thicker oil was often used to tune the shock but often they would suddenly stop working. Probably due to internal damage from the heavier oil For how much oil you can find that out when you drain the other shock and measure it. If you do one you should do the other. https://www.amsoil.com/msds/stl.pdf http://www.summitracing.com/search?keyword=Shock%20oil Sent from my iPad > On Mar 8, 2014, at 7:41 PM, [email protected] (alfa-digest) wrote: > > > alfa-digest Sunday, March 9 2014 Volume 10 : Number 2726 > > > > Forum for Discussion of Alfa Romeos, etc. > Richard Welty <[email protected]> > Digest Coordinator > > Contents: > > [alfa] administrivia: Powell's Books > [alfa] ALFA DIGEST - Koni shock oil query > > Alfa Digest Home Page: > > http://www.digest.net/alfa/ > > Send submissions to [email protected] > > Send administrative requests to [email protected] > > To unsubscribe, include the word unsubscribe by itself in the body of > the message, unless you are sending the request from a different address > than the one that appears on the list.
