Curtis, I am a little confused by the Amazon web site. Are you talking about the 24 dollar or 18 dollar item? tia

The microphones are truly outstanding, and headset isn't too bad. The microphones, (which are mounted inside the headset on each side) definitely are binaural, outputting to a 1/8 inch stereo plug, and the headphones have their own 1/8 inch plug. Also, there is a USB adapter which you can plug into your computer to run them via team talk, (or other applications to record your podcast, (which can be in full binaural stereo for radio shows which blow everyone's mind since when I talk on them I am in the center with all sound all around me, and without "bumping" microphone sounds, etc. The "andrea cans," are quite inexpensive because they just haven't caught fire, I am sure, but they are sleepers, believe me, and I am sensitive to correct phasing of binaural sound. Trains, and boats and planes, :) come in either up, down, in front of behind you or on either side just as you hear them. ----- Curtis Delzer, HS. Many years ago, I used binaural microphones and was very impressed with the quality of my recordings. However, I would need to buy a new pair of binaural mics and am wondering who manufactures them these days, or have they been surpassed by something better. I must admit that some of the recordings I have made with the Olympus's internal microphones are impressive in their own right. > > My best to all of you, > > Mike > > > -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Groups.io Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
