I discussed this issue with OBR and from what I know now the installation should
never ever install a libfreetype.so.6 unless there is none available on the
system. OOo can easily live with newer and older freetype versions. The only
exception was the OSX port because it could not determine the version (until
issue 70973) and thus the compatibility tweaks that were required for that
particular version could not be enabled.

If libfreetype is installed even if one is already available this is an
installation issue. Is there such a scenario anywhere? If yes I suggest to
submit an issue for the installation project, if no I suggest to close this
issue as WORKSFORME. Comments?
