Dear fellow Alpine Elves,
Surely this is a wonderful opportunity for innovation, for a new approach, for
a design that flouts convention? We all marvel at the masterpieces of Halda,
Jans and ZZ, but originality can be just as breathtaking.
The University of MN Landscape Arboretum could be spoken of in the same breath
as Gothenburg, Denver and Edinburgh and not just as another very pretty
American garden that spent it's grant?
