Hi Shirley, I am unaware of the predominant landscape features of MN Landscape Arboretum (natural hills, plains, water features, etc.), but one of the features that delight me in the Dolomites are the large basins that feature within the plateaus and screes; rocky dips that shelter plants from the very strong winds and provide shade and moisture in such barren areas. Rock gardens usually rise from their surroundings - it would be refreshing to come across a garden feature that one can only admire fully from it's rim. Kindest regards, Cliff
