Depends on how much customization they will need. If they just want basic
blogging and page creation, Wordpress is an excellent choice. Runs on any
platform. Lots of great plugins and themes are available.

Drupal or Joomla might be a better option if they want complete control over
the experience. I'd probably recommend Wordpress, either self-hosted on an
inexpensive Linux server or at Wordpress.com.
