In this document, on the left, you'll see terminals marked 'fet'. One for Apogee and one for Main.
http://altusmetrum.org/TeleMetrum/v2.0/telemetrum-sch.pdf

You'll be connecting the fet to a ground hole on your board with the ematch and battery connected inline. Starting at the fet the sequence is:
1. connect wire to one fet
2. connect ematch to that wire
3. connect ematch to + terminal
4. connect - terminal to ground on board

The link is good, but am I the only one that cant see the photos?
I want to add a pyro battery to my TM. But not sure what side of the ematch
to connect my leads to. As I assume you still connect them to the terminal
on the TM?

Second issue is I ran the update for 1.3 and my load Maps button doesn't
open anything. I think I already have The Rocket Pasture loaded, but next
weekend I am going somewhere I don't have loaded. I am moving around this
the easy way by must copying my deskops maps folder over to my laptop, but
curious if someone else has the same problem. 1.3.2 on debian.

Tim, If I am there, you are welcome to use my laptop.
But beware, it is a rocket computer that has argonia dirt in it. If you
touch it just right the screen falls off or the hard drive may fall out.

Clay
P.s. My screen aint too bright:)

Here are instructions for adding a separate pyro battery. I had a
similar problem with my TeleMini resetting during fire and this worked
around solved the problem:

Further information.

1. Uninstalled the software and installed version 1.2.1 all the windows
work
properly. I have a Telemetrum v1.0 unit.

2. I still cannot fire an igniter. I have tried several different one
and
every different types..When I arm it then fires it says connecting to
COM3.
I have always flown this as a data logger and tracker but this will be the
first time I have used it for dual deploy. The battery voltage is reading
4.0 volts and the igniters read 3.5 Volts. The resistance is 1.7 ohms for
each igniter. I did make the mod to the battery removing the board as
suggested. I would like to fly this weekend at KLOUDBURST but am afraid
to
rely on this altimeter if I cannot ground test.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me, I getting desperate.

Thanks,
Tim

1. When the rocket is in the vertical position and armed I start up
the software and it automatically goes into the monitor mode. All data
is green but I cannot close the window without using task manager
Not being able to close the monitor window seems really odd / broken.

2. When the rocket is horizontal position and I want to test fire the
igniters I first arm them and then press fire but nothing happens.
The software says the igniters are connected. Also, after I press
fire the software acts like it is reconnecting to the altimeter..
Does the TeleMetrum beep at you like it's restarting? If not, you're not
having a problem with the flight computer, you're having a problem with
the
ground station software. Given the oddity of not being able to close the
monitor window, sure seems like something isn't happy between the altosui
application, the Java runtime, and the operating system.

I personally know too little about Windows to be much help here.

I have used all this last year with no problems and was wanting to
test before a launch next weekend. Any thoughts?
Definitely sounds like something got updated on your computer in the
interim
that our software isn't happy about.
