Actually the current file that Altus distributes for a linux install is
pretty agnostic about which "distro" (flavor) or linux you install it on. I
have it running on several machines/laptops here, including two chromebooks
converted to run linux. One of the chromebooks is running archlinux and the
other is running chrubuntu. There are some pre-required software packages
(java and nickle come to mind) but the "new" shell script does most of ;the
heavy lifting and seems to work fine.
