There's always the hum of the computer to contend with or use (that and the
projector fans were the soundtrack to an installation I had on in the summer
although everyone saw it as a silent piece it was really quite noisy!). Being sent
of to grab your headphones and sit in a quiet room can be a really ideal way to
experience a work.
