I am going to collect suggestions about the Group file section to
send to support.
I am also inviting all forum users to vote for the files they would
like to keep in the file section.
The format of the voting process is discussed in an attached post.
At the end of the voting I will send the results to support and ask
them to consider deleting files that no one or perhaps very few want
to keep.
DO NOT EMAIL SUPPORT ON THIS ISSUE.
It is entirely my own initiative.
QUESTIONS OR DISCUSSION ON VOTING ETC IS INVITED WITHIN THIS TOPIC.
Voting will be confidential.
Please do not make people feel uncomfortable by commenting on the
votes as recorded or file ownership by name.
A vigorous discussion on the use of the file section will be invited
in a separate topic.
THIS IS A DEMOCRATIC PROCESS.
THERE IS NO GUARANTEE AT THE END THAT ANY ACTION WILL BE TAKEN BY
SUPPORT.
I am not sure what the outcome will be.
It depends on the forum and whether or not we can reach a reasonable
consensus on any issue or issues.
THE FINAL DECISION IN ANY CASE REMAINS WITH AMIBROKER SUPPORT.
Don't shoot me I am only the messenger.
This is a one-off initiative on my part.
It does not imply that I would undertake any similar action in the
future or that I have any defined role or authority within the group.
