What version of MUI do you use?
Maybe your muiconfig.library file is corrupt?? Have you tried to make
a fresh MUI install??

How much stack do you give AmIRC??
I give it (for some odd reason) 100kB!
Check the icon. 4kB is too small for a MUI program they say, even 8 might
be too small. But it's strange that the error occours when saving prefs
and not at some other point. However, when saving prefs MUI traverses
through every part of the GUI searching for stuff to save so this might
be a good time to run out of stack. And stack related crashes are often
quite severe.
