Hi,
I've been busy working on a new skin and I would like to get some feedback
concerning it. I've provided 3 links for you below so that you can comment
on each one. This feedback is very important to me, as it will determine
the direction that we move towards for the new default skin. I am torn
between which skin we should use as the default, as the original idea was to
take the emerald skin and modify it a bit to make it more appealing for
everyone, but my version of this skin has taken a somewhat different
approach (as seen in the screenshots below), and I'm afraid that it is
possibly too different from the emerald skin, so I'm really looking for
suggestions on how to proceed. Shall I continue to finish this skin that
I'm working on, or shall we wait for Gus to finish his emerald2 skin and see
the changes once he commits them to the default skin in svn? Shall we ship
both emerald2 + this skin that I've been working on?
These screenshots each show something different.
#1 shows the contact list + chat window, contact list shows the slight
difference between the emerald2 buddy icon and the modified emerald2 buddy
(green buddy vs. green buddy with skin color).
#2 shows the contact list + chat window, contact list shows user's display
pics.
