Uhm, I took a look at my fonts configuration files both in /etc/fonts and in my home, but couldn't find the "unique way of getting system default font" as expected. :( I don't have much free time to mess with tcl/tk, and I'm still working on langit, which has priority for now, but why don't you just set the line to look like this? -family {DejaVu Sans} -size 10 -weight normal -slant roman -underline 0 -overstrike 0 I think DejaVu Sans is the best default font available to GNU/Linux users, it's way better than Helvetica imho. Would this setting even be possibile?
