Mike,
This is in response to your question concerning getting the Host Report
to group hosts for a domain. As I understand it the HOSTOUTPUTALIAS is
applied after the stats are compiled so if you had a line that said
        HOSTOUTPUTALIAS *.dialip.mich.com dialup
your host report would still show separate stats for each host in
mich.com, but the hostname would show as "dialup". The HOSTALIAS is
applied before the stats are compiled, so if you had instead
        HOSTALIAS *.dialip.mich.com dialip
your host report would combine all the requests from *.dialip.mich.com
and you would get one line of output with the hostname of "dialup". This
sounds like what you are looking for. I use the HOSTALIAS a lot because
I am more interested in hits on a domain basis than on a host basis. I
also use this in my Referrer Report to get referrals by search engine.
For instance,
        REFALIAS http://www.excite.com/* http://www.excite.com
gives me one line with all the referrals from Excite. Hope this helped!
