I think I know what is going on. That log file appears to contain 16 bit
characters (two bytes per character). Analog isn't going to be able to
read that directly, but it should be possible to convert it back to 8 bit
characters.

Anyone know a simple way to convert files from two byte characters to one
byte characters?

Dr. Seuss books . . . can be read and enjoyed on several levels. For
example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed
as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system.
