I need to confirm my understanding of HOSTEXCLUDE.
If I do this:
HOSTEXCLUDE 192.168.0.2
Then I should expect the following 2 entries in my log file to be ignored:
2001-02-25 18:54:32 192.168.0.2 GET /nimn/images/small-r-arrow.gif -
http://www.foo.org/bar/takeaction/mediaContacts.html
2001-02-25 18:54:32 192.168.0.2 GET
/nimn/images/top.gif -http://www.foo.org/bar/takeaction/mediaContacts.html
and they should not be included in the statistics of any of the reports.
Is my understanding correct?
If so, any suggestions as to why they are not being excluded?
SETTINGS ON indicates: "all included then - 192.168.0.2"
