I agree with the big D. compiling analog was not difficult on either linux or solaris because of the simplicity of the tool setup. this is not the case with so many tools that I want to run on solaris 10 sparc, it is so much work because the Unix world has so fractured in the last five years... stop the madness- leave the tool perfectly supremely generic! please?
