Not sure to really understand the trouble.

With ADC I we tried to be in the winner list but we know that 98% of
us will not be in this list.

ADC I is a contest some win some not.

People here are merging too much different things :
- the contest
- Google as a whole
- Android as a new product
- Apps we wrote

Contest : it's passion oriented with gratification, pains and
frustation, but it's over now. ADC II will be in the same "color" if
we are able to face same things let's go to ADC II, if not stay away
for it.

Google : they did not promise anything except the fact they 'll choose
50 apps and give 25k$ for each. We subscribe to these rules, they too.

Android : We have in our hands opportunity to create new applications
and business, not only for a contest but for real life. If we choose
android only because we have 2% chance to win, I think we miss the
best of android

Our Apps : It's OUR apps, should be the best, should be recognized by
others as the best jewell for next decade. Sometimes it is, sometimes
not. Now we have to make choice :
 - trash it, because we are judging that this app is poor compared to
others, or because of too much frustration
 - Go back to work, and make it a real value added app for the market.

Why this challenge is a good thing, and why ADC II will be too ?
How could we have is such short time (2 month) a vision of what can be
done with android, what are the applications coming from 150
countries.

My ranking for boycott is : (- infinite)
