Oh, I can think of lots worse. Like my existing 1.5 users getting
stuck in an update loop. Like all of my users getting stuck in an
update loop. Like my app not showing up in the Market for anyone. Like
having to provide a new build for 1.5 with every update. None of these
are according to that spec, so I may not have a way of knowing before
trying.

I don't really need new users for 1.5. In fact, I'd rather avoid them.
Since you dropped them before Multiple APKs existed, I assume you
simply changed the minsdk attribute in a release. Did anyone with 1.5
contact you after that?

167 users are sufficient to cause damage if I manage to tick them off
and they all comment in the Android Market. On the other hand, only
one person person contacted me the last time I broke 1.5 in a release.
I'll notify him in advance.
