My 2 cents... Ad's are annoying on a 17"+ screen already. On a small
mobile handset, ads mean: Users, running away screaming into the
night. To add insult to injury, ads eat into users' telco service
quotas.
As a side effect, ad's also dilute the overall platform experience.
Say, a user has ad-free favorites, but then there's some desirable
apps which are loaded with ad's - in the end, it'll drive users away
from the platform altogether.
So my conclusion is: No ads, please.
