Well that wasn't exactly my point. To the consumer, it either works,
or it doesn't. The former state is the customer expectation, and
that's what a quality conscious vendor will aim to provide.
Not to sound preachy... there is a space for Alpha and Beta releases,
but the consumer realm isn't one of them. You're selling a toss-up to
them. I am completely with those who advise against such practices.
(Got to, in my real job I've taken a small shop through ISO 9001
certification last year)
Having said that - in another post, we've heard that, sorry, Google
has no influence over the hardware and other offerings. Not to sound
cynical, this makes me wonder if there's any leadership in the OHA, or
if they all (T-Mobile, HTC...) just push around plastic ducks in
their individual backyard pools, thinking that'll get them eight
Olympic medals one day...
