Even 12 is OK. 24 is a bit too much. But 30 is too much. I've experienced the 30h, and that's not all - it appears on weekends/holidays that the 24 period could become 48h, that is Google Checkout gets some rest as well. I'm not making this up and have already posted this on the dev list I think.
