Well, the G1 may not be the best phone out there but what you say is
perfectly understandable. If you have a G1 on T-Mobile you should not be
worried about the frequencies and if you have an ADP1 you should have read
this before getting one, that has been covered in so many forums/sites.
Even the market problems has been explained in a few group discussions.

And if you want to compare with the iPhone remember that the very closed SDK
came on the 2.0 version and the first "SDK" they released was a "Here's your
SDK: Make web apps" (what a joke).

I have a G1 in Canada right now working under EDGE and it works really fine.
I don't have paid Apps but I'm waiting patiently. I hope this change soon.
