I was under the impression that you were either "THE" admin of the
site or at least one of the admins. According to a log I have from
your Meebo chat, you were listed as "Admin Killabeetle," so I am
confused why you are speaking in the third person in the above quote
"they are only..."

Received any crank calls yet? Didn't think so. And the information
that I posted was from doing a whois on the androidplayground, net
which is easily obtainable to anyone, I just cut the middle man out
and posted for the developers on this forum to see and quickly read
without jumping to another tab and doing a whois themselves.

As others have said, the fact that you "believe" you are providing a
service to developers does not validate the content of the site or
its purpose. I believe the sky is yellow, but that sure doesn't make
it so. The real heart of this discussion is the fact that
androidplayground did not get the developers consent prior to
distributing their apps. And yes, sending the .apk files via email is
still distribution.

BTW, just because others are doing something, does not make it legal
or right. Yeah I speed all the time on the road as do others, but it
is still illegal plain and simple, and I am aware of this. I do not
try to excuse it in any way, other than I like to drive fast. Getting
tickets is the price I pay for my actions, just as androidplayground
should expect some sort of repercussions for what they are doing.
So... be a man/woman and admit that what you are doing is wrong and
deal with those that disagree with it, or change your business model
and create a distribution hub for developers to reap the benefits.
