Another factor in considering alternative markets is the public face and
professionalism of the company representing your application to the user
community and device manufacturers.

Here's a recent trolling by SlideME. They admit to crappy code and not
testing their releases but also try to bait me into a flame war through
personal attacks. Think of what a device manufacture would think about
having their deployments called crappy. So it's very important to understand
who is representing your application to users and paying customers. If they
aren't professional or mature, then it reflects badly on the developer.
