Try telling that to the numerous OEMs who have invested millions (if not 10s of millions) in Android devices, and the carriers who invest hundreds of thousands (if not millions) in promoting those devices. I very much doubt the kind of investment you're considering comes anywhere near that level, so your choices are pretty much "put up with it" or "go elsewhere" because although the Googlers do listen to the rest of us we are a very small voice in the crowd when you factor in the guys who have to make, sell, and support the actual devices.
