Hi,

This is not something you can prevent, it is like 'rent a crowd'
outside a retail outlet when a new product is released, or paying a
journo or prominent site for a glowing review, or paying someone who
hand picks app's to recommend (no offence intended!), or paying for a
celebrity endorsement. I see often web articles along the lines of 10
must have apps and wonder what kick backs are involved. There is also
sites where you pay (big dollars) to have them review your app. These
are all just forms of paid advertising, some palatable some not.

I'd still like to see an official Android Market App Forum (not the
existing market forum) with links to each app comment, where dev's can
respond to each user comment and also have the ability to see all
comments a user makes and perhaps let dev's rate users as well so
anybody can gauge the value of a user's comments and ratings.

Regards
