As John has mentioned, when Google does crack down on something/
someone, don't expect it to be gradual.

When Tetris registered a complaint, 30 or more tetris clones were
removed from the Market instantly. Perhaps some of them weren't
actually using the tetris name and weren't violating any trademarks,
but that didn't matter.

I believe that a competitor is violating the terms of use of Google
Maps. I don't know when or if Google will want to enforce that, but
I'm certainly not planning to jump in and do the same.
