You assume Google's free apps will be of quality. Street View, Books,
Shopper, Goggles, Reader - all rated 4 stars, which, for official apps from
the company that makes the freaking OS, is not very good.

Coupled with Google's non-existent customer support, it's really not that
hard to provide a better product and overall experience to the end user.
