This really makes sense for Nokia. Their Meego platform is likely DOA (and the date of arrival keeps getting pushed further out). Windows Phone 7 is a viable platform they will be able to leverage immediately.
This is good for the Mobile industry. I am happy to see another platform emerge. More competition encourages more innovation.
