I don't think it makes sense to set the local app price influenced by the 
local price of a meal (especially a KFC meal ;) )!

All users enter the Android world by buying a device and those devices cost 
pretty much the same all over the world. So, I think that sets the 
expectation that costs (including the software) are set globally.

When setting prices in different currencies I just round up/down to nice 
numbers. If the value is bang in the middle of two nice numbers then I'll 
round up for rich countries and down for poor countries. FWIW, I 
artificially lowered the price for Japan, because of the recent Tsunami.
