FAQ: "Amazon will pay developers 70% of the sale price of the app or 20% of the list price, whichever is greater." List price - not "full" price. >From the Agreement: *i. List Price.* The *“List Price”* for an App is an amount that does not exceed, at any time, the lowest list price or suggested retail price for such App (including any similar edition, version or release) available on any Similar Service or the lowest actual price at which you make such App available for sale through any Similar Service. You will update the List Price for each App as necessary to ensure that it meets the requirements of this section 5i. Sale Price = price user actually paid for your app. List Price = lowest price *YOU* set for your app anywhere (if you put it at $3 in the Market and $5 at Amazon, list price is $3) So if you put your app up for $10 (the list price) and they discount it to $8, you get $5.6 (70% of 8) which is greater than $2 (20% of $10). If they slash your app to $2, you'd get the $2 since 70% of 2 is less than the 20% of your list price. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TreKing <http://sites.google.com/site/rezmobileapps/treking> - Chicago transit tracking app for Android-powered devices -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
