If you defend yourself then the barristers and lawyers lie through they're teeth while the judge takes they're word as gospel because he thinks they wouldn't break they're oath. If that was the case they'd charge fairly as per the law society regulations, rather than a hundred quid to fix they're own spelling mistakes etc. etc.. Google having to acquire patents so that they can actually stay in a war of attrition is rediculous but I guess it makes lawyers very rich, which then become barristers and then judges and then maybe politicians.
