I am seeing normal traffic on my app. I started using a 3rd party tool to track my stats (Andlytics app on Android - free, with a donate key option) in May. Since I have been tracking, with a few exceptions, my download rate has been steady
Of course, I probably am not effected by the changes in the search algorithm, since my app doesn't show up in search results anyway. I can type the exact name of my app, and it doesn't show up in search results at all - at least not in the 1st 10 pages of results. I don't know how people find my app, but luckily, they do. I know my app has common keywords (I wouldn't expect it to show up in searches for "Droid") but if you type an exact match of the name - I think it is reasonable to expect it will appear somewhere in the search results. Bottom line, my stats are the same after the algorithm change, but I am an edge case. Anyone else notice that every thread on this board eventually ends up being a discussion of all the things that are disastrously wrong with the Android Market. More important, do you think anyone at Google notices? (...I already know the answer to that question).
