Hi guys, I'm new into the Android game development, I was a Xbox indie game developer (aka Running Pixel) and before that I was a J2ME mobile games developer. I released two (three if you count the lite version) games for Android: FluffyCraft<https://market.android.com/details?id=com.gameccino.FluffyCraft>and Stackerz Touch<https://market.android.com/details?id=com.gameccino.StackerzTouchFree> No, I'm not trying to self promote my stuffs, it's just to present myself.
My question is: how do you plan to promote your games/app? I noticed that the "*just in*" section is gone, I didn't plan to build all my promotion effort on that list but being my games good enough I hoped for a good kickstart :D Well the "just in" is gone, now I have to push my games in some other way, but to plan a good promotion plan I should know what are my goals: so, how many copies of a free game should to get a good position on the other listings and get noticed by the masses? (trending, top, and so on) How many copies should sell a game to get the same listings? Any clue? Any other methos to suggest? I haven't a huge budget (I have a small budget indeed) but before investing I'd like to know that I have a chance :-) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
