You know, I'm not really sure what Google intended the android-discuss to be. Most discussion has traditionally be developer-related and driven but without code or anything too technical. One thing is certain though, as others have indicated, this is one list that Google employees pay absolutely no attention to. Basically ever as far as I can tell. So while we are actually free to post feature requests, it is probably as productive as writing them on paper, sealing in a bottle, and tossing them into the ocean. :-) Actually, that might be more productive... > 2) I have not been able to find any more appropriate forum, perhaps Google should create and promote one? In addition to the Link provided by TreKing, I created the "android_os" group on Yahoo groups recently (two nights ago actually). I did that with the intention of making it available to general-interest android discussions, android news, and user questions. i.e., "less developery"... if you will. This would still not be for feature requests, but could be a good place to discuss using the OS/apps etc. Just as a thought. If no interest, that's ok too. http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/Android_OS/ It is a Yahoo group because ( a) I like yahoo groups better and ( 2) newcomers will be less likely to get confused thinking Google owns it. Or that's my theory anyway. I've yet to look hard to see if there is anything within Google or yahoo's terms of service that would prohibit it, but anyone interested is welcome to join and ride until a cease and desist. Just for the record, I have no intent to indicate non-developer discussion is or isn't welcome on this list. I assume we're all happy with just about anything. I simply created the yahoo group because a friend suggested it a while back, and I had been thinking it was a good idea considering that many users may not care to wade through a few hundred complaints every time the ability to view statistics on the market console goes awry.
